I have had this old Apple Box all my life, a delivery to my family's restaurant back in the day !

Love this Tree, Heavy metal rod in the middle with heavy

tinsel wrapped branches, found at Goodwill last year !!!

  • styrofoam balls

  • fabric

  • scissors

  • pokey tool – this could be a skewer

  • glue

  • wire for hanger

  • optional – spray glitter fabric paint, gloves, cardboard box

1.Cut 2 to 4 inche squares of fabric

2.Put some glue on the spot to punch the fabric in

3. Do this until the ball is full, let the glue dry

4. Finish with spray glitter, glue on berry's, tiny ball ornaments, tiny pinecones, etc.

FABRIC ORNAMENT BALL

SAVE YOUR FABRIC SCRAPS, RIBBONS, TWINE, FLORAL PICKS,

BURLAP,

4 INCH FABRIC SQUARE

WRAP AROUND A 2 INCH STYROFOAM BALL

Tie with rubber band, then tie on ribbon, twine , floral picks,

Vinegar Pie

4 large eggs

1 1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup butter

1 1/2 cup cider or white vinegar

1 teaspoon vanilla

Your favorite pie shell

Mix all together, put in pie shell, bake 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes

(Variations: add and bake in some pecans, raisins, or cranberry's,)

This Pie goes back to the American Civil War Days, you always had vinegar, maybe some sugar , molasses, or honey, and eggs in the chicken coup !!!

So, it became an economical and easy to make sweet treat !!!

Here's a Savory Spinach Feta Bites, Easy to Make !!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 small onion, diced (about 1/3 cup)

  • 10 oz package frozen spinach, thawed and drained thoroughly

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup (packed) crumbled feta

  • 8 sheets phyllo dough

  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a medium saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium high heat.

  3. Add onions and cook until translucent.

  4. Reduce heat to medium and stir in spinach and salt.

  5. Cook until any liquid is evaporated.

  6. Remove from heat and allow to cool 5 minutes.

  7. Whisk eggs in small bowl and add eggs and feta.

  8. Lay mini tart pans on baking sheet.

  9. Unroll phyllo dough and brush bottom sheet with melted butter, add next sheet and repeat until all 8 layers have been coated with butter.

  10. Brush butter over tart pans.

  11. Cut dough into 6 equal squares and lay over tart pans-press lightly into pans and against edges.

  12. Spoon filling mixture into tarts.

  13. Fold edges up, leaving middle exposed.

  14. Brush top with butter and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

  15. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

  16. Let cool 5 minutes and remove from tart pans, serve immediately or at room temperature.
